SLC Tree Removal - Before
Bittersweet project cutting this tree down. The long-time resident put up with this tree's messiness for many years because of its beauty. But when it began to show signs of stress due to disease and insect damage, it was the straw that broke the camel's back for this client. We were hired to cut it down, grind out the stump and large roots, and replace it with a good alternate tree.

Starting the cutting process. Tree had a lamp post beneath it, a neighboring fence to the right of it, and a house immediately behind it. Using wedges, and ropes we were able to pull the limbs down in safe directions to avoid any property damage.

New Autumn Purple Ash is planted, staked, fertilized, and watered. All the debris is raked up, sidewalks blown off, and tree is hauled away. Neighbors are sad to see the tree gone, but the client is thrilled with the new tree.

SLC Rock Slab Stairway Replacement - Before
Client had a stone slab stairway that was falling apart and sinking. We were brought on to bring in higher quality stone material, to improve aesthetics and functionality of this space.

SLC Rock Slab Stairway Replacement - During
Construction phase of the project. We brought in an excavator to lift the slabs from the street and swing them into place. It was tight with existing plant material and a steep slope adding to the challenge, but it's coming along well! Boss is acting as the guide to the excavator operator and checking level on each step.

It was tight with existing plant material and a steep slope adding to the challenge, but it's coming along well! Large OSB boards were laid down to protect the lawn and prevent deep ruts and other forms of damage. They worked well.

Lindon Landscape Design
Home had an extremely sharp slope covered in rocks and weeds. We came up with a rock wall retaining wall, with stone steps to provide access from the driveway to the front door. Plant selection will have year-round color and interest.
